So young. Neil Young - Out On The Weekend.

My Place Is Home.

I don't have a picture of what my street looks like. It has soul, coffee, bars, bikes, hipsters, down-'n-outers, dykes. AND, the best wine bar in town (thanks Amanda), the best record shop (thanks Eric), the best tacos (thanks Brian!). It has become a golden garden spot on the planet. Much love to you, North Portland!

Reasons for excusing my blog:

This blog is proof that I am, indeed (as the British like to say.  Just tack "indeed" to the end of anything, especially "thank you very much").  So, now that my ethnicity and excuse for blogging is laid out like a sin (which it isn't) you may read me like a vanity-press pamphlet (which I am not). I am, as my chosen title clearly states, sensical. For whatever reason, the word sensical generally exists with a "non" prefix. Not to be confused with not having a prefix, which would not be worth mentioning.  I mention this because, if you have a "non" in front of you, it only seems reasonable to want to get rid of it. So, nonbegone (which isn't a word but should be) is no longer allowed. Begone!  Sensical however, is very welcome. It means there is somesense. On the same hand, or the other... if there is a "some" in front of you, it is somewhat less than having it all. Indeed (which works just as well in front of anything), this is why nonsense exists. Actually, nonsense is inherently superior. It is definitive as to its amount of sense. There isn't any. This is why you should not notice the contradictory statements contained herein. It is perfectly consistent. This is somesense and nonsense very much indeed.
